Ceolchoirm Seachtain na Gaeilge

On the 7th of March our school performed our annual Seachtain na Gaeilge concert. First Class began the show with Hot Cross Buns on the tin whistle, then they performed Siorc san Uisce and finally they did their version of the Haka as Gaeilge. Confirmation preparation Mass

On Wednesday the 6th of February we had our preparation mass for the Confirmation, at 7pm in the Loughrea Cathedral. Our parents came. The ceremony of light was its name, in the ceremony our parents handed us a candle as a symbol for handing on responsibility to us.

A Good Start

Lisa from the SEAI came to our school and delivered a presentation to 6th class on the benefits of sustainable energy forms. It was very interesting and we learned a lot. Some of our class then met with her to discuss some our ideas.
