Friendship Week took place last week in school. Each class took part in activities promoting the idea of friendship and what is means to be a good friend. As a whole school we created a friendship tree which contains a picture of each child and a positive adjective about themselves.
Well done to our Gaelic Football teams who played very well in a challenge match against St Patrick’s Boys’ School on Wednesday. We played two matches, won one of them but lost the other. Not a bad result. Football training takes place on Mondays from 3 – 4pm.
Coaches from Loughrea Rugby club visited our school recently and provided a training session for each class. They thought pupils new skills such as passing, tackling and catching . They put their new skills into practice with a match at the end.
