Teacher – Parent Partnership
The school recognises that significant benefits accrue as a result of effective partnership between parents and teachers. Close cooperation between home and school is a fundamental aspect of school policy so that each child achieves his potential.
Parents are always welcome to arrange a meeting with Principal or teacher to discuss any matter of concern. In addition the school provides a facility for regular consultation with parents and this includes the formal parent/teacher meeting in mid November. Specific dates will be available on the calendar as soon as they are arranged.
Parent’s Association
St Brendan’s School Parent’s Association works in conjunction with the Board of Management, the School Principal, the Teaching Staff and the wider School Community. Their aim is to promote the School and to support our pupils in their formation and education. Parents of children in the school are automatically members of the Parent’s Association and are invited to the AGM where a committee is elected for the year.
