Teacher – Parent Partnership
The school recognises that significant benefits accrue as a result of effective partnership between parents and teachers. Close cooperation between home and school is a fundamental aspect of school policy so that each child achieves his potential.
Parents are always welcome to arrange a meeting with Principal or teacher to discuss any matter of concern. In addition the school provides a facility for regular consultation with parents and this includes the formal parent/teacher meeting in mid November. Specific dates will be available on the calendar as soon as they are arranged.
St Brendan’s School Parent’s Association works in conjunction with the Board of Management, the School Principal, the Teaching Staff and the wider School Community. Their aim is to promote the School and to support our pupils in their formation and education. Parents of children in the school are automatically members of the Parent’s Association and are invited to the AGM where a committee is elected for the year. The Parent’s Association can be contacted at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Personal Accident Insurance Scheme
The Board of Management encourages all pupils to take up the separate Personal Accident Insurance Cover.

Each pupil will receive an application form together with details of the scheme in September.
The school operates a very successful Book Rental Scheme and it is available to all pupils. In September pupils are given their class books on loan for the year. A small fee is charged and all books must be returned in good order at the end of June. Lost or damaged books must be paid for.
