On the 7th of March our school performed our annual Seachtain na Gaeilge concert. First Class began the show with Hot Cross Buns on the tin whistle, then they performed Siorc san Uisce and finally they did their version of the Haka as Gaeilge.

Second Class then played the Kerry Polka on the tin whistle and also performed An Fear Sneachta. Finally they sang An Chlann.

Then Mrs. Glynn`s Third Class took to the stage and sang Mo Bhreithla and An Leipreachán Amárach. They finished their performance with Pop goes the weasel on the tin whistle.

Then boys from 6th Class put on an amazing drama which was directed by Mrs. Lawless.

After that Mr. Monahan`s 3rd & 4th Class performed Rugadh Mise i bhaile beag, Amuigh I mBéarra, Cabrígí lena cheile, Dána Dána and finally some songs on the tin whistle.

Then, Mr. Mulhall`s  4th & 5th took to the stage and performed An Fear Bréige and Mo Scath before finishing their performance off with An Bhfaca tu mo Shéamusín.

After That 5th class performed `Boolavogue` on the tin whistle, than sang Seo iad na leabhair and finished off with Óró mo bháidín.

Then 6th class performed their last ever Seachtain na Gaeilge performance, performing Beidh Aonach Amárach, Óró sé do bheatha bhaile and finally Peigín Leitir Mór.

The last performance was by our school’s Irish Music group `Grupa Ceoil` which is conducted by Mrs. McGuinness. The group performed some Irish tunes before we all sang ` Amhrán na bhFiann.
